Savage Untamed is the artistic pseudonym of David Bucciero (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1974). Visual artist and educator, he develops a practice centred on contemporary abstract painting, exploring matter, light and perception as active dimensions of the pictorial experience.
He studied Visual Arts at the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte (IUNA), where he began his formal training in the artistic field.
Alongside his artistic production, he works in the field of youth and adult education, articulating his practice with diverse social contexts. This experience shapes his view of painting as a territory of transformation, persistence and the construction of meaning.
His work is organised in series such as Territories of the Last Song, Stellar Heartbeat and Pandemic, where he investigates different dimensions of pictorial matter and its relationship with energy, time and perception.
He lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
