Emotional Contagion

Emotional Contagion explores the invisible transmission of affective states. On nautical sail, glazes of blue pigment, asphalt paint, acrylic and oil overlap creating layers of emotional intensity. The work was born in the context of the pandemic as a meditation on how internal states expand, contagiate and transform shared space.
