My work emerges from a physical and intuitive relationship with painting.
I understand the pictorial surface as a living field where matter, gesture and color interact as forces in constant transformation.
Through processes of accumulation, erosion and atmospheric layering, I explore painting as a territory where images appear, dissolve and reconfigure themselves. The work does not seek representation, but the activation of presence — a vibration between the visible and the invisible.
Many of my recent works investigate the relationship between body, territory and memory. In this sense, painting becomes a space of emergence: a place where fragments of landscape, energy and symbolic traces surface and disappear within the material depth of the image.
Light, matter and gesture operate as fundamental elements in this exploration. In some series, the integration of light within the work itself expands the pictorial field beyond the surface of the canvas, transforming the painting into a pulsating presence that oscillates between appearance and disappearance.
I approach painting as an open process — a space of intuition, resistance and discovery — where the act of painting becomes a way of inhabiting uncertainty and revealing forces that remain latent within the material world.
