Quarantine Vigil

Quarantine Vigil is a painting about time standing still. Oil, glazes and pigments accumulate on the canvas in a slow, meditative, almost ritual process. The work emerges from the long nights of confinement, where time dilates and vigil becomes the only possible territory. Each pictorial layer is one more day, each glaze a whisper in the darkness.
